Personal Statement

As a highly motivated student who attends UALR in the UALR Teach program I was allowed very generous opportunities to teach students of diverse ages and backgrounds, from as young as second grade to high school. Outside of the classroom I have provided tutoring to homeschooled children. These different experiences have enabled me develop an accomplished teaching style, so that when I graduate from UALR with my Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry. I can secure a job as a high school or middle school science teacher.
